International Day of Work
5/1/2019 12:49:47 PM
Over here in Germany today is a notional holiday to celebrate the "Day of Work". I know in the UK they have next Monday earmarked for this. If you have the day off, I hope you are enjoying it. People over here are using it to raise Maypoles and relax with a beer (or two).

Happy Holiday!

John.

Hi John, Read your post, I am retired for about 4 years one month now. so I do not really work at a job, however yesterday here in California USA it was 73 degrees partly cloudy yet some sun and light breeze I wash my vehicle, did up my washing clothes s I did work and swept my house floors and clean stove. So, there always work. whether retire or having a job. Share by Darlene of Sacramento, CA.

Ah, yes, that daily grind... I will have to get used to that if I ever retire. Maybe they will have to carry me out of here with my boots still on (smile).

Will be in California in the summer. Save some sun for me!

Best regards, John.
