Hi Ken; The virus is probably in your restore, so when you restore, you're restoring the virus. They often target the restore for that very purpose. It's probably also in your registry files and has set itself to reinstall itself every time you reboot your computer. That's why none of your AV programs can get it. It's relaunching before they do. Many viruses today can turn off or halt load of an AV program while they do their nasty work. I know this because I've just spent the better part of 2 weeks dealing with the same thing. Additionally, many of the downloader trojans also download additional viruses that "hide" in your system. I started with one and ended up with 8 trojans. If you don't deal with it quickly, you may also end up with mailers and backdoor trojans as well. To deal with it, you're going to need to work in the registry files and probably in safe mode. My advice - don't try fix it yourself. It's best to take it in for service and have it done for you. Will save you a LOT of headaches. : ) Linda
