When you start your own business, you really need to have a reason. And a good one. Not just money. Because once you see that the money isn't coming quick enough, you'll run for the hills to the next shiny oppotunity that promises quick gains.
Network Marketing isn't like that. Neither is any business, really. Some people have just made the right connections or have the right entourage to be able to get it so quickly. I'm sure they work hard and apply what they learn, but some people just have an advantage that others don't.
But NEVER FEAR! Your opportunity awaits and you can soar in your business if your why is so strong that it makes you cry.
It's cliché, I know. But, it's true! People who are in a state of mind where they want success and believe they will get there by being honest and following the rules will make it. If you've already started and find that people aren't responding, what's the reason? If you're doing things like spamming, you're really going to piss people off. Here are a few rules to remember:
1. NEVER EVER add your product link to your posts on social media
2. NEVER EVR send your link without asking
3. Create value posts so people get to know, like and trust you because you don't want to look like a salesman
4. Lifestyle posts are an important key to your success
5. Find people who are interested in what you have and have to say
Easier said than done right? Not really! You need to learn these and other important skills to be successful at this business. Just as you had to learn and apply the skills you learned when you first started to drive. Or when you started a new job.
Don't worry!! You'll be fine. Just remember WHY you're doing this! What makes you so passionate about doing this?
I'll tell you mine...I have 3 whys...
1. My family. I want to be able to give my son everything I didn't have growing up. I want him to see more and enjoy it all more.
2. My father passed away about 3 years ago now. My family is in Canada and I now live in Europe with my son and husband. I couldn't afford to go to my dads funeral...
3. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimers while I was pregnant. I want to be able to travel back to Canada at least twice a year so she doesn't forget us. And for my son to get to know his grandma.
Those whys make me cry. They keep me going.
Even though you might not be exactly where you want to be in your business, it's only just begun and you're not going to give up. Just keep learning, applying and finding the right people.
