What about this issue was shell trying to cover up?

I'm going to make a leap and say that Exxon and Shell knew about carbon and climate as far back as the Exxon whitepaper on the subject. But Shell did a video!

Point of no return. Kicking the can of climate change down the road is not the same as tax reform. The earth is an unforgiving taskmaster.
