	The Obama administration is dropping all charges against arms dealer Marc Turi who threatened to expose a plan by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to arm anti-Gaddafi rebels in Libya back in 2011. Catherine Herridge: “Turi makes a compelling case. The Obama administration authorized a covert weapons program to arm the Libyan rebels in 2011 that spun out of control. And the Justice Department has now moved to dismiss the charges against Turi, in part because a trial that would happen around the election in November would publicly expose evidence about the administration's strategy to arm the Libyan opposition. Turi told Fox, as part of that investigation, that he believes half of the weapons ended up in Libya and the other half went to Syrian groups who are not friendly to the United States.” Gregg Jarrett, Fox News Legal Analyst, explained that Marc Turi originally submitted an application to sell weapons to Libya and was denied. Gregg Jarrett: “The second application that was approved by the Government was for Marc Turi to sell arms to Qatar, not Libya. Libya was denied, but they approved his Qatar. And the government came after them because they said, your true intention was to get those arms to the rebels in Libya. You lied, therefore, on your application. He says, wait a minute. You approved me to sell this to Qatar. What Qatar does with it, I have no control. And moreover, the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton were involved imminently in a covert operation to do precisely what I was doing and they authorized it. When the Federal judge said, you have to turn over - State Department and Hillary Clinton - all of these documents by today. Today is the deadline. The Department of Justice said, we’re not going to do it. We’re going to dismiss the case. It’s very suspicious. Because associates of Marc Turi, and indeed Marc Turi say, this would have sunk Hillary Clinton’s campaign. It would have shown that she was imminently involved in a gun-running covert scheme in which weapons would eventually found their way into the hands of Islamic terrorists, al-Qaeda and ISIS. And there’s pretty good evidence that’s true.”
