Agree!!! I have a friend in NY who is a Dog Advocate, and she goes overboard with it, IMHO. I love animals myself and I rescued a dog last year, but I don't see my doggie being more important than a human. If I had a huge place, I would help homeless people too. Not many homeless here where I am in Tennessee. I haven't seen a one in over a year that I have been here, and there is no homeless shelter here either.
Plenty of dog shelters where if not adopted they will eventually euthanize the doggies and cats. Do I think that is right? No, but life is such, it is a reality. I can't save the world, but I can do what I am capable of doing to help others and doggies too when necessary.
