Sweet Sticky Chicken Wings
Here is a delicious healthy recipe for chicken wings that is sure to have you and your guests coming back for seconds (and thirds and . . .). The combination of apricot jam, ginger and honey along with a healthy soy sauce* (or soy sauce substitute), garlic, a wee bit of vinegar and more makes the recipe irresistibly sweet and slightly tangy - and you can give the recipe an extra bit of kick with some cayenne pepper or hot sauce. This recipe would also be good to use on other chicken pieces, such as thighs. Be sure to make plenty - you'll need it!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup soy sauce* 1/2 cup honey, preferably raw organic honey 1/2 cup apricot jam 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (or other healthy oil) 1 tsp vinegar 2 garlic cloves, chopped 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 4 lbs. chicken wings & drumettes Optional: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper powder or a splash or two of Louisiana Hot Sauce or other favorite hot sauce for a bit of added "kick". *Note: The vast majority of soy in the world is genetically modified (GMO). In addition, only fermented soy is healthy. Be sure to use only soy sauce which is made with fermented non-GMO soy or else use one of these healthier soy substitutes:
