TRENTON — Now it's your turn. Who won the 11th Republican presidential debate Thursday night between U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and businessman Donald Trump?
The four squared off in Detroit on Thursday night — the smallest field yet for any of the Republican debates. Earlier, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson announced that he did not see "a political path forward" for his campaign. Carson had continued to slide and had a dismal showing on Super Tuesday.
The Thursday GOP debate came two days after Trump, the former Atlantic City casino tycoon, won seven of the Super Tuesday states, solidifying his status as the front-runner for the Republican nomination. Cruz's won three states Tuesday and Rubio won one. The victory in the Minnesota caucus was Rubio's first.
