The FBI Just Destroyed Another Hillary LieDuring the last Democratic Presidential debate, Hillary Clinton continued to dance around her email scandal, refuting that the FBI was investigating her private email server, but rather conducting a “private security review”.
This is classic Clinton word-parsing.
The FBI is performing an investigation which was confirmed when documents were released because of a Freedom of Information Act request.
The Wall Street Journal’s Byron Trau broke the news on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ByronTau/status/696816085715304449/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The FBI makes it clear they are applying “law enforcement efforts” – which definitely does not sound like your business as usual, “security review”.
Fox News also reported on a former FBI agent and an intelligence source who both debunk Hillary’s claim:
“Hillary Clinton used misleading language in Thursday night’s Democratic debate to describe the ongoing FBI investigation into her use of a private email server to conduct official government business while she was secretary of state, according to former senior FBI agents.
In the New Hampshire debate with Senator Bernie Sanders, which aired on MSNBC, Clinton told moderator Chuck Todd that nothing would come of the FBI probe, “I am 100 percent confident. This is a security review that was requested. It is being carried out.”
Does anyone seriously believe that she wasn’t handling classified information on her private server?
For any reasonable person, the answer should be no.
