This is what the Lord says;

"Cursed is the one who trusts in man,..." (Jeremiah 17:5).

But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,

who confidence is in him. (Jeremiah 17:7).

Jesus Christ said,

But I tell you, Do NOT swear at all:

either by heaven, for it is God's throne;

or by the earth, for it is his footstool;

or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.

And do NOT swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.

Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No';

anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

(Matthew 5:33-37).

The Holy Bible says,

Those who deal with the law did not know me (God);

the leaders rebelled against me. (Jeremiah 2:8).

The Holy Bible says,

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. (1 Corinthians 3:19)

"The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile." ( 1 Corinthians 3:20 ).

The Holy Bible says,
"All men are liars."

Jesus Christ said,

"Ask and it will be given to you;

seek and you will find;

knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives;

he who seeks finds; and

to him who knocks,

the door will be opened."

The first to present his case seems right,

till another comes forward and questions him. (Proverbs 18:17).
