On our last safari ride at Ngala Tented Camp before our honeymoon was over, we encountered this special encounter. Throughout the night, we heard these lion growls. On our last morning ride, our ranger had told us if we'd heard those lion growls as they were brothers searching for other. Good thing we had as he said we'll be looking for it and hopefully we catch the moment when they find each other.

We found one of the brothers right away and were just waiting, watching him rest for like 2 hours or so. We kept hearing the growls and so did he - finally, as if sleeptime was over, he got up and started walking towards the direction of the growls. We quickly followed.

After about 20 minutes or so of following him, we heard through the radio that another ranger had found the other brother at a nearby location. Our ranger quickly drove us his location and we caught the moment they finally met up with one another.
