“Good Prevails”

There is One Great Creator—One—not in the sense of numbers but in the sense of wholeness. There is One Great Creator from which all beings and all things are birthed. In the beginning, before time, this Creator breathed Itself into the Ethers and called it Good. From that Breath all beings come in dimensions we know and don’t know. The Creator knows Itself through these beings and imbues each being with all of the qualities necessary for its existence.

I am born of the breath and good of the Creator. I am imbued with everything that I need already for a good life – health, abundance, happiness, joy, love, right relationship. I am that good which was called forth when I was created. I danced in the movement of the stars before I arrived, rode in the clouds, knew myself as a raindrop, and flew through the air as an eagle. All existence is contained in me like all existence of the ocean is contained in every drop of ocean water. As I know this for me, I know this for every person that reads this prayer.

I affirm and declare a good day – a day filled with the grace of God. Where there is hurt, healing arrives and forgiveness prevails. Where there is loneliness, love rules, and where there is illness, the pure and perfect pattern of health inherent in this perfect idea that weaves me allows my body to remember its perfection. There is no problem greater than the Good from which I’m made and so Good prevails. Good prevails. Good prevails every time and in every instance. I simply surrender to this Good and know that it shows me the path of happiness, health, wisdom, and love.

I am so grateful for this knowing and so grateful that my life is etched in consciousness. I am grateful that I get another day of love and that every moment until now is the very experience of my life. I claim it and call it good. I am happy that I am a member of the Rio Grande Center for Spiritual Living and that every single person that arrives at our doors is loved. I am thankful.

With a thankful heart, I release my word knowing that this prayer is done. And so it is. Amen.
