WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT "GOOD FRIDAY" ?
2/17/2015 7:00:44 AM

How can the worst day in human history be described as "Good Friday"?

This was the day that our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified.

It is the day he hung on the cross for all our sins.

It was a day of darkness, in that "...darkness came over the whole land ...,

for the sun stopped shining. ... Jesus called out with a loud voice,

"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."

When he had said this, he breathed his last. (Luke 23:44-46).

Forgive us Lord for causing you to be crucified for the forgiveness of all our sins on this “Dark Friday”.

This question also bothered me, as soon as my 1st child arrived back in 1979.

Since then, I have been enlightened what's good is redemption. I believe Jesus came to experience our flesh condition in order to redeem us in Abba Father's GRACE ... beyond expiration from our flesh bodies.

The CROSS to me, symbolize the place that separate flesh issues from spiritual freedom. The place that frees individuals to choose to either embrace or reject Brother Jesus ~~~ while living in our temporary bodies on Earth.
