“Today I Open my Heart to Forgiveness”

Forgiving another is a personal release. It is the opening to unconditional Love. Love is the energy of life. Love is synonymous with God. “Look at what is feared, what is unforgiven. There is no fear that love cannot resolve and there is no negativity that forgiveness cannot transform. When this is done we are again in harmony, clear, and change occurs”. (Ernest Holmes)

Today I open my heart to Forgiveness. To the presence of God in everything and everyone. God personifies as each of us and the core of each of us is perfect, whole and complete. Life may layer over that perfect presence but it is forever there and can be seen if one only looks close enough.

I am, as are you, a personification of God. We each look different, have different issues that we feel challenged by and we are all held in the arms of Love. There is no separation other than what we choose to create. For that person or situation that needs to be released and forgiven, there is no separation other than what we have perceived.

We each do the best we know how to do with the information and tools we have at any given moment. With the knowledge that Love is the core of our existence, we are able to act in such a way as reflects this knowingness and thus open to the change this view provides.
“Forgiveness does not condone an act, excuse the person who acted, nor give that person permission to repeat the act. Forgiveness is releasing the burden of hurt or anger from the past, and releasing the expectation that the act or person must change. Forgiveness comes from the part of us that knows there is good in every situation. It comes from the love that finds God in all persons and all situations.”

I am grateful for knowing this principle for in knowing and acting I am released from past conditions that controlled my feelings and in some instances, my life choices. I am grateful to know that God and Love are the core of who I am and therefore I move and have my being in that way.

I move into my days, letting go, forgiving and loving those who have hurt me. I bless them, wish them love and joy to fill their experience and I LIVE.

And So It Is
