A dear friend shared this proverb with me recently, and it stopped me in my tracks. There I was, holding on to what I thought life should be. My interpretation of “the way life should be” was dragging me through the Desert of Resistance. Its carpet of pebbles, rocks, weeds, goat-heads, nopal and broken glass provided a most uncomfortable ride.

What a relief it was to stop and remember that Spirit is All there is! To recall that Life is unfolding in perfection, and that I would be divinely guided, held and loved through the experience I was having. And not surprisingly, the moment I let go, what I was resisting ceased to exist!

There is one Power, one Wisdom, One Perfection in existence, and I call it God. God is the loving presence that is the author, the creator, the mother-father God. It is the essence that is in back of everything. It is Love, it is Clarity, it is Divine Guidance it is perfect communication. For God is Word. It breathes life into every living thing. It animates every person, every place, every animal, everything pulses with the Breath of God. Everything is created of that one Mind, that one Heart, that one Perfection.

And as I know that I exist, I know that I exist in God. God had a thought and I was born. God breathe life into me and created Maria, as it did for each person reading these words. Each is of the stuff that God is we are Love, we are Harmony, we are Peace of Mind, we are Wisdom, we are Perfect Communication and Divine Guidance.

The Love of God animates all of our actions, all of our choices, all of our experiences. We are bathed in God’s Love and Wisdom. I now speak my word: I know that the Universe is a friendly system that supports us continually. Just as the chair or the floor is supporting our body right now, so is God supporting us in all of our endeavors. God, the Higher Power is in charge, and we relax and let go into the comfort of God. Divine Right Acton is unfolding in our lives in the most marvelous ways! We step aside and allow God to work miracles for us!

The results are astounding.

I give thanks for the Science of Mind and the Nature of the Laws of Thought. I give thanks that this is a Spiritual World, and I give thanks for the presence of God I now release my word into the Law, knowing that like a canyon, it echoes back the perfect manifestation.

And so it is! Amen.
