As I sit and get in touch with the silence within, I feel the ineffable spirit pushing, pressing, lovingly animating me from within, and I realize that spirit is always there in me expressing as the god-in-me. It is the all that animates the universe, the love that is the most powerful force, the alpha and omega. And it is in me and in each person, accessible to all. It expresses in me as delight, joy, curiosity, openness, and love. When I call upon those attributes, when I am open to them, I am one with spirit. This is so for anyone who reaches within and looks for spirit. As I look back to times of fear, I realize that spirit, love, acceptance, was in me then as it is in me now, just waiting for my consciousness to ignite these gifts in me. This fire that ignites is also peace, like a glowing ember that keeps love alive.

I am grateful for life, for love, for the ability to be me at this time in this place, just the way that it is. I accept life, just the way that it is, and just the way that it is not. Acceptance brings me peace and opens me to love. These words are just as true for anyone who desires this. I accept the blessings in my life, I accept each person as a blessing, and I rejoice in the life that is mine now. And so it is.
