“I Turn My Thoughts To Gratitude”

Liza Kerr, RScP

Liza Kerr, RScP - Rio Grande Center For Spiritual Living, Albuquerque, NM

I am grateful for learning and using Science of Mind principles in my daily life. These principles have taught me a simple way to live, and to enrich my life. These principles have taught me how to change my thinking so I can change my life. These principles have taught me that I am fully responsible for my life; that the only person I can change is me, and for that I am grateful. It is so empowering to take control of my life, to take control of my feelings, to decide each day that this is going to be a good day; thank you God for all of this.

I am grateful for so many things, my children and grandchildren who constantly teach me how to feel and give pure unconditional Love, my siblings who are always willing to listen, and to be supportive no matter what happens in my life. I am grateful for my dog, Winston, who Loves me unconditionally and is there for me no matter what, he teaches me how easy it is to just accept life on life’s terms. From him I am reminded daily how easy it is to receive pure unconditional Love. He teaches me how to really live in the moment, how to be grateful for what is happening right then. He is a constant reminder to just be willing to listen to my inner voice.

My thoughts of gratitude turn to my job. I am so grateful for the work that I do, for the difference that I make, for the opportunity to use my skills in a productive and fulfilling way. I am so grateful that I get paid for what I do, thank you God for all of this.

I am so grateful for the time I spend in nature, for when I am in nature it is so easy to open my heart to hear the voice of God. When I am in nature I find it easy to really open my eyes and see God. I see God in the blue sky, and in the forest, I hear God in the wind that rustles in the leaves or through the pine boughs. I hear God in the gurgling of a stream and in the calling of a bird or other creature to announce my presence to the forest. I stand on a mountaintop and look around and everywhere is God. There is nothing that is not God. Strong, silent, omnipresent and, and omniscient; God.

I am so grateful for my good health, which makes it easier to do all of the things that I love.

Thank you God for all that I am and all that I do.

I release this prayer of gratitude to the Law of Mind.
