Hello.
Thought you should all know off a newer wrinkle on an older 'phising mail'
I expect you have all received an email from a bank (supposedly) which you have never heard of, or is similar to one of your own with a message that your account needs to be logged into, etc, etc.....
These type are so obviously scams & cons that you just look at them & laugh & delete them, maybe even clicking on the re-sign link to see just what information they are trying to get from you.
Well now there is a new 'kid on the block'.
It looks similar to the other one's, except it leaves you with a present for not giving you information.
It comes in the form of a very virulent virus which will, not only wipe your hard drive, but take out all information, codes, passwords, etc that you have EVER used on line.
It is a really nasty bit of work, I could not even copy & paste it for you to see, without it starting up.
So, if you receive any sort of email purporting to come from a bank, DON'T open it at all, unless you want to check out how good your virus protection software is, & unless it is top of the line...... well lets just say that normal basic Norton or Mccaffe will not stop it.
So be careful what you click on out there, it may be that we have an online corp, or it may be that scammers, con men, hackers & virus builders now know that we issue these warnings.
Whatever it is, we get a large amount of this type of email weekly, maybe everyone does? We just like to warn people about them.
Anthony.
