When I am sad, lonely, and bereft, I remember that I am surrounded by God, because God is all there is.
When I can be in touch with that knowing, that God is everywhere, I remember that God/Spirit/Lord/Father/Mother, whatever you want to call it, is my Good and my God.
It is Comfort, Love, and Understanding.
Spirit can dry my tears, warm my heart, and touch me deeply with love.
I am one with all of those attributes of Spirit, because it is in, around, and through me.
I stop and feel that I am held in the arms of God, and I am comforted to know that all is well.
Then I can begin to look beyond appearances to know that Spirit is right where I am bringing me everything I need, bringing me love, comfort, joy, gentleness, and warmth.
It reminds me of my wholeness and my holiness.
I affirm a song returning to my heart, a sparkle in my eye, a bounce in my step once again as I feel Spirit next to me.
I am so grateful for remembering and knowing that God surrounds me with its comfort.
I release my prayer to the everlasting law that takes it and makes it manifest.
And so it is.
