As long as we are raising and caring for horses, there are going to be times that they need to be confined, whether it is to treat them for a medical condition, grooming them, etc.... but I firmly believe that if you don't have at a minimum 10 acres of land for a couple of horses, 20 acres for 4, etc.... then you have no business owning them.
Horses need a lot of room to run around in, to forage for food, etc..... and keeping them penned up constantly isn't good for them. |
