Simply Being Myself
Liza Kerr, RScP
I think what I really like about my dog is that he is content to just simply be himself. Although I see him posture around trying to impress various guests at my house, mostly he is content to just be himself. I am pretty sure he doesn’t spend a lot of time worrying about how he looks, or if he needs to lose 5 pounds, or what happened to him when he was a puppy that is causing him anxiety now. He is just here and happy to be with me. I love this big guy and am glad that he shares his life with me. When I am feeling especially stressed out, I can just reach out to him, give him a good rub behind the ears and both of our worries dissolve into nothing.
Today’s prayer then is for finding and touching that authentic place in you that knows it is perfection personified, that remembers that all that matters is this moment now. Allow yourself to open to the Divine Presence that is God. Feel the Peace and Contentment that flow into you as you align with the universal energy and are at once completely grounded and whole.
I Speak my Word and my Word is LAW that each of you is able to connect to that God source that is always a part of you and to allow this connection to serve as a conduit filling you with whatever you need to bring you into alignment. As this occurs you realize that the only thing that matters is this moment now, everything else just falls to the way side. The memories from the past – fall away, the thoughts and worries about the future, just fall away. In their place is just now – the perfection of now, the peace of now.
Each of you has within you the power to find and keep this connection. The resolve to just simply let go and be whomever God intended you to be. There is nothing else.
I give thanks for knowing this manifestation has already occurred, I release this prayer to the Law of Mind knowing it cannot come back to me void and I anchor it into place by saying AND SO IT IS!
