The Daily Meditation 01.20.2013Prayer for the Inaugural WeekendRev Martha Quintana, Senior Minister
How good it is to simply remember Source; to fall into its consciousness and to align with its goodness. The moment I remember Source, the moment I call it forth into my consciousness is the moment I lay my burden down. This Inaugural Weekend is a time of happy possibility – a time to know health, employment, and education for all people; a time to know that we are only as strong as our most vulnerable citizens. We are all the citizenry we have been waiting for, and the time is now arrived for us to live and move together in support of us all. To this end, I invoke and evoke Life. I call it forward so magnificently that it shows up in all of its glory – as the rising sun, as the singing birds, as this cold, crisp morning. I see Life in my child, my partner, my pets, and in all of the people I meet. This Life is perfect and is the source of all living creatures. I am so grateful to live in the glory of Source. I know this for myself and for all people. I affirm and declare health, happiness, and time for all of us. I affirm and declare wisdom, health, and happiness for all of our leaders on this Inaugural weekend, and I affirm the same for us all. All dread, all anxiety, all fear about our economy and about these unknown times fall away never to return. In its place, confidence reigns and all citizens know the goodness of their hearts, their families, friends, and country. I am so grateful. I am so grateful for the dancing and merriment of this weekend. I am so grateful for our President and Congress and, most of all, I am so grateful to be an American. I can live my dreams more easily and more fulfilled because I live here. It is done. And So It Is. Amen.
