Joys and Challenges of the Holiday Season

As I find myself in the midst of the holiday season, I am reminded of the joy of family and friends and the sorrow of lost family members and friends. I know that this is true for so many of us. We celebrate together with dinners, parties and other gatherings. We enjoy each other’s company and retell the stories of the past. Many of these wonderful stories are about loved ones who have already made their transition. This is good in that it keeps those memories alive. It helps the young people remember and relate to their heritage.

So, at this time I remember that there is one Source…… One Power above all powers………One Divine Loving Spirit……….One Love that encompasses all. And I choose to call that source God. God is in, around and through all things. We are always and in all ways immersed in God’s loving presence.

I know that I am one with that divine Source. I do not open my heart to let God in………I open my heart to let God out. For I know that God always resides deep within me. I simply need to connect with that inner God and listen to that still small voice within. And as I know this to be true for me, I know this to be true for everyone. God resides in every person and is available at all times for wisdom, comfort and guidance.

So, during this holiday season I affirm that all is well. I cherish the memories of those who have passed on before us and know that they are in a place of peace and love. I enjoy all of the wonderful times with my friends and family. I affirm that each person brings forth the very best person that they can be. And even if we don’t always agree, I respect and appreciate each word that is spoken. I remember that we are all One and each person is a part of God’s divine love. I do not judge or criticize, but listen to everyone with an open heart and an open mind. I treat everyone with respect for they are God in form walking this earth.

I am so grateful for this knowing. I am grateful for the teachings ofScience of Mind that helps me to know that I truly co-create my life. I am grateful for this holiday season and all that it entails. I am grateful for my spiritual community that loves and supports me through the ups and downs. My heart overflows with love and gratitude.

So, with a grateful heart I release this prayer out into the Universal Law. I know that it is already manifest for I have spoken it.

And so it is!
