I Saw God In His Face

By Dianne Martin, RScP

In November, I spent the first few days of my Grandson’s life with him. I saw God in his face, in his hiccups, in his cry. He is the miracle that God is.

God is the miracle of everyday life. I recognize that God is in each moment of the day and is everywhere present and at all times. God expresses itself in so many wonderful ways: love, happiness, renewal, growth, and strength. God is the source of our good and we cannot be separate from it.

I know that my life is a miracle. Each breath, every movement, laughing and crying; everything is part of that miracle. And, as I know this is true for me, I know it is true for everyone. We are all one with Spirit; we are all one with all the qualities of God, with love, happiness, renewal , and strength. This is the truth of our lives. I accept that truth and joyfully embrace my oneness with God.

My life is filled with love; the love of family and friends, the love of nature’s beauty, the love of our wonderful spiritual community. The love in my life goes hand in hand with my happiness. I am happy knowing that as I give love, I receive more love than I could have imagined. I am happy knowing that I am one with the one and one with everyone and everything. With each new person I meet, with each new experience, I am renewed. I feel the release of all that no longer serves me and I accept all the new in my life. My renewal is spiritual growth. The more I grow, the more I am sure that God is all there is. The more I grow, the more I express my God self to others and ”support him or her in becoming that God person too”. I am strong. My strength is God’s strength. I know that my strength is in the knowledge that God is all there is. It’s all a miracle.

I am so thankful for all the miracles in my life. I am love, happiness, renewal and strength and for that I am so grateful. I give thanks for the knowledge that everyone has these same qualities of God and each person and each experience is a blessing in my life.

And now I release my word into the law, knowing that as I speak, it is done. The truth of life is in my oneness with God and I simply accept this and know that love, happiness, renewal and strength is mine.

And so it is.
