The Daily Meditation 11.10.2012Thank You God In MeBy Carol Grim, RScP
As I stand on a hilltop on a crisp November morning I see the perfection of the world around me. I know the one I call God or Spirit (and known by many names) is here and everywhere present. The desert sands and the native plants are now dormant. All that I see around me is a part of that great Creation. Here there is Love and Joy and Peace and Compassion. I know that I am made of that very essence that is this world and all that is in it. I am here to express God in the world and am free to do so in any way that I choose. I choose Love and Joy and Peace and Compassion. I know that there is only One and that each and every person reading my words and indeed, each person on the planet is of the same essence for there can be no opposite. I declare that all discord, all anger, all need and pain now fall away never to return. I feel the settling of the winds, the calm of the ocean and Peace is expressed between neighbors and countries. The light and love of the holiday season we are now entering is felt worldwide. I remember a saying, “God is in His heaven and all is right with the world”. I know that God is not off somewhere watching but is everywhere present and all of my life and yours. I am ever thankful for all that is: the beautiful world, the settling of the lives of the people on the East Coast. I give thanks that the world rests through the winter season and know that Spring always follows with a new awakening. I now give these words unto the Law knowing that they are true and already acted upon. And so it is.
