I finally have my computer pretty much straightened out to where I can take advantage of your offer. I am still promoting song artists and at this point I am looking for between eight to ten singer/songwriters to take to Nashville. This project will take about a year to complete, however the singer/songwriters will appear on stage at the Nashville Palace and I am also trying to make arrangements so that they can all have a one hour session at the Gene Breeden Studios. Some of the greatest country artists have recorded at the Gene Breeden studios including Garth Brooks, the Oak Ridge Boys Blake Shelton. You never know who you will meet at the Gene Breeden studios. After joking and shoving a bearded guy around a bit one day, he looked at his watch and went back into the studio to get his partner, saying that they had to get to the airport because they had to be in Chicago in two hours. On the way back out they shook hands with everyone in when they got to me he told his partner to watch out for me, adding "Mike is a little unhinged, but he's okay." After they left I shook my head and asked, "Who were those crazy people anyway?" One of my clients, with a shocked look on his face said, "You don't know who you've been joking with for the past half hour?" I said no and another client said "Those were the Oak Ridge Boys" I also knew a year before the split that Brooks and Dunn would be splitting up because my client Chuck Kesilman went to High School with Kix. On another trip to the Gene Breeden studios, I was able to get a recording session for my client Michael Deese. During that session I arranged to have his father accompany him on his Base guitar. Gene was very happy with that arrangement because Michael's father was Elvis Presley's Bass guitarist when Elvis was still playing church's and small halls. Michael has since formed a road show and is constantly on the go. I will be changing my policies a bit because although many of our clients are doing well, they have not lived up to their agreement to pay us moneies due us. That will change.
