Ken 8530 1889 Santa ...	For sale, sailboat, 1977 macgregor 21 swing keel with trailer. 8/20/2012 6:44:04 AM
	This is a nice looking, clean, ready to sail boat with lots of upgrades. It has all new control lines ran to cabin top cam cleats and accessed from the cockpit. Includes Self deploying anchor system with the rode at the cabintop, boom vang, preventor system, mast raising system, jiffy reef system, porta-pottie and a 7.5hp johnson motor. Sails include the main sail, 100% jib, and 140% genoa. It has a new keel winch and cable and all hardware. The boat also has new bottom paint installed and it has the better full cast keel rather than the fiberglass encased steel keel. This boat was set up for single handed sailing and is one of the nicest towing, easiest rigging and sweetest sailing boats on the water. It single hands (solo sailing) very well and with the swing keel it trailers nice and is light enough to tow anywhere with a smaller vehicle. It will sleep 4 in the cabin but is more suited for two people. We sail it often have spent many weekends on it and it works great for us, but we need to sell it to free up some cash for personal reasons. it is currently moored on fern ridge reservoir and a moorage space and parking passes will come with the purchase. Also if needed, I will give you some informal sailing lessons so that you can become familiar with the boat and sailing in general. The trailer has no rust, new tires, lights and wiring, and an additional support cross member for the bow of the boat. the boat has had all the deck hardware and the rub rail resealed and the motor has had a full service within the last three months with a new ignition module installed. It runs great and starts easily. includes sail cover and jib bags.
