Tonight on 60 Minutes a featured story discussed how classified ads are actually stating, "MUST BE Presently Employed."

Thousands across the nation are unemployed and have been for more than a year some going on two years and businesses have determined that your skills are not up to date therefore not viable for their business opportunities.

Interviewed were people with degress who have worked in high paying positions including a man who worked for a program that was headed up by the White House. He was fired by the Vice President personally.

These people shared about their fears regarding being able to take care of themselves. The situation has gone way pass having a paycheck to the emotionally and physical stress of not being able to take care of ones on daily needs.

Some of the men and women stated they are now:

1) Foodstamps
2) Living with family members
3) Homes are in foreclosure or already gone
4) Experiencing depression

Corporate America is letting people down and that is the skilled and degreed folk. What the other people who are not as skilled and do not have degrees. Further increasing the number of people who cannot and will not be able to take care of their families for a long time.

I believe that this is the "Age of the Entrepreneur" and thank goodness that there are available many honest business options for those who need to step up to the plate and take responsibility for the future of him/herself and family members.
