The Failure of MLM

Why is the failure rate within the MLM industry around the 97%
mark. The fact is most MLMers have not got a clue how to market
their business, and the sad fact is that much of the guru led
advice, coming out of the industry… even from so called leaders
within that industry is utter baloney. Quite frankly, when I hear
an MLM sponsor advising their downline ‘you need to write down a
list of family and friends and then go and sell, sell, sell’… I
actually feel I want to reach for the vomit bucket. Sorry for
being so vulgar, but this rubbish that these people are spreading
about makes me angry. The fact is, when you have ran out of
friends and neighbors to harass with your sales pitch …Then what
do you do? …Unless you start banging on all the doors in your
neighborhood your stuck.

The fact is that the hard sell with the MLM industry is what has
given it a bad name and leaves a “bitter taste in the mouth”.
This is not to mention all the positive thinking baloney many of
these companies come up with. When it seems that you are having a
bad week and can’t even get a family friend interested… what do
your upline and the MLM execs say… you need to be more positive…
please, spare me this tripe.

Until MLMers have a major paradigm shift in their thinking and
realize that trying to sell their opportunity is what is killing
it… then frankly they are doomed to fail.

Good salesmen are as rare as ‘hens-teeth’, the fact is that very
few people are good at it, and even fewer can stand the constant
barrage of refusals they get, before they manage to sponsor
anyone. The fact is, even if you can build a big downline… most
of the people within it, will be learning the same MLM sales
pitch tactics from the company execs… and you end up with a dead
dowline.

The few that do succeed within the MLM industry (often after
years of failure), do so after waking up to the fact that…
virtually everything the MLM industry is teaching them is
garbage. And the first piece of good advice you get from a good
sponsor is to: ‘stop trying to sell’ and instead position
yourself as someone who is offering others what they are looking
for.

The first key to success within the MLM industry; is to realize
