Hello Members,

Based on the server issues and changes that were made and because of the confusion of whether some people have voted or believe they have a vote in by hand I am going to restart the 323RD POTW starting today and let it run until May 3.

I will notify all of the candidates again with the new thread. I do apologize for the inconvenience but in absolute fairness and with any confusion I believe this is the most reasonable and fair way to all involved.

Barry I guess third time is supposed to be a charm but the second one was working fine and had a total of 20 votes which is about norm for the POTW anymore, as a matter of fact I've seen polls with a lot less votes lately. I'm guessing there might even be less the third time but we'll see. :(

Hi Mary Evelyn,

You are probably right, however I believe that this is the only fair way as there were some who claimed to have voted by hand and some who may ahve done both and in the best interest of all we decided to restart it from scratch extend the vote period and notify everyone involved with a message and the link to vote.

This will at least provide the best accuracy for the POTW vote.

It does it now when I create the new Vote so everyone should also have received it, the renotification was done to voters to let them know they could re-vote as I was afraid they may not look at the 323rd thinking they already voted and to the candidates so they had the new thread of where the voting was now. When I created the new 323rd vote everyone would also have been notified. Hopefully that covers everything.
