Treasured Twins at Three
By Papaw Beaty 1/27/12
Psalm 127:3-5 “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the
hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is
the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be
ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”(KJV)
The twins to all are number one.
With two of them they’re twice the fun.
They first run here and then running there.
Braden’s car is beneath the chair.
The terrible two’s are now behind.
Perhaps there’ll be some peace of mind.
The truth is; they weren’t that bad.
They had each other for which I’m glad.
Daddy loves his little boy,
Who’ll be so good for a car toy.
He also loves his little girl.
She’s on his lap in a little curl.
I wouldn’t wish twins on anyone,
The work is hard but oh, such fun.
Brayden with a brand new car.
Lauren’s hats make her the star.
They love to hear their Grammy read.
When she arrives there’s a stampede.
They are both loved with tender care,
Now they’re three, Princess beware!
