This is one my favorites from Flip Wilson (how many of you are old enough to remember him?):

A lady with a baby is comfortably seated on a train when a drunk stumbles down the aisle and then stops and stares at the child. After a moment or two, the drunk blurts out: "That is the ugliest baby I have ever seen!"

The woman gets furious and grabs the emergency cord and the train screeches to a halt. The conductor comes dashing into the car and asks what's going on. The lady starts ranting; "I am extremely upset! This drunken sot was very insulting! I am not going to just sit here and be subjected to this kind of abuse..."

Using every bit of his tact and charm, the conductor calms the lady down and suggests that they go forward to the dining car. "As a gesture of good will, the railroad would like to provide you with a free meal and I'll go into the kitchen and see if I can find a banana for your monkey..."
