Hi Barry,

I thought the POTY had been permanently canceled last year. Was it only skipped for one year for some reason? That doesn't seem fair to all the 2010 POTW winners to not have been able to be eligible to be POTY. Can we submit 2 names? One from 2010 and one from 2011?

Hi Kathleen,

I do not remember it being cancelled permanently, I do remember that I was far too busy to take it on as we were in the middle of developing a new feature.

There is time this year and we can have one for 2011. I do not think it would be fair to try and re-visit 2010 at the same time as the 2011.

It is not unusual to have a promotion or event cancelled in one year and carried on the next.
