I recieved this in my personal email last week and wanted to share it here with you all:

The 10 th Anniversary of 9-11 is coming up, if you agree
this is an occasion that needs to be remembered, then please read below and join in the showing of "We Have Not Forgotten"

THE GOAL IS :

On Sunday, September 11th, 2011, have an American flag displayed outside every
home, apartment, office, and store in the United States.

We do this to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, to honor their families,
friends and loved ones who continue to endure that pain, and to honor all those who are fighting at home and abroad to preserve all those cherished freedoms that our Flag represents.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American
flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity.

The American flag is the symbol of our country, and together we can show we're '
still together ' to prevail over those who wish to destroy us.

Action for the PLAN:

(1) Forward this email to everyone you know. Take a moment to think back to
how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.

(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9-11-11. If God be with us, who can
be against us?

This morning Cheryl shared with us the following video on her forum "A Dog Day is The Best Kind!" I'm so glad she did. As an animal lover myself I thought it was a beautiful tribute to all the four legged hero's of 9/11 and wanted to share it here today as well.

Please honor all our hero's this weekend. We must never forget!

Last night as I watched NBC's special on 9/11 with host Tom Brokaw, I was touched by one fireman's comment. He was one of the "Ladder 6" Fireman who were trapped in the stairway of one of the Twin Towers when they collapsed. He said what he feared most today is that we the people would forget. So, for him and all the victims, survivers and hero's from that day and every day since, the least we can all do is fly our flags on the 10th. Anniversary of the most horrifying day in our country's history. Please show him we have not forgotten and display our flag proudly! I hope you all will.

Of course, our Flag at the House flys daily from Dawn to Dusk. It has ever day since 9-11 and tomorrow it will once again be flying Proudly. We are also having a Special Service at Church tomorrow morning and there is also a Special Community Service over in Greensboro, NC, tomorrow afternoon. I, for one, and my Family will never forget!

Like you we have flown our flag daily since 9-11 and it will be flying proudly tomorrow as well. You're graphic is just beautiful! I do fear that some people have forgotten or think it's time to move on. We must never forget!
