I know this seems simplistic, but I have used viral traffic generators like this since I first started selling things online back in the late 1990's. However, like anything else of this nature, it is not automatic. You have to promote it and get others interested for it to work. On the other hand, once it takes off, you can have a flood of traffic to whatever site you are advertising.
