Thank God For Mothers
By Dean Beaty 5/7/11Proverbs 18:22 “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the LORD.” (KJV) If it wasn’t for your mother,
You would not have a brother.
Nor a sister or a puppy.
Cause dad said, “Just a Guppy!”
She has some mystic powers
To change dad’s mind to ours.
It must be within her eyes,
When they flutter he complies.
I thought I’d use that trick,
When school problems once got thick.
But it did not work at all.
I got sent out in the hall.
If it wasn’t for dear mom,
Life would never be so calm.
She makes hurts all go away.
With one kiss they never stay.
So, thank God for every mother
Cause I’m sure there is no other
Who will love with out condition
Even when we need contrition.
