Sharing Heaven

Luke 17:34-36 “I tell you, in that night there shall be two
in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Two shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the
other left. Two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and
the other left.” (KJV) (italicized genders removed)
If Christ returned in just one day,
Would just you be taken away?
While earth goes through a horrid fate,
Would you go up without mate?
A great reunion will be there.
Will there be those with whom you’ll share?
The place that God’s prepared for you,
No family there to share the view.
Will your heart be filled with despair?
No wonder tears are mentioned there.
Our God will wipe away all tears.
This just may be why this appears.
Don’t walk alone through heaven’s gates,
With none share what yet awaits.
Take your spouse and children there
And there with them God’s home you’ll share.
I Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold, I show you a mystery;
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (KJV)
