Adding the Facebook 'Like' Button to a Webpage

Using Facebook's "Like" Button to Increase Your Website's Visibility

I just learned this evening that I could put Facebook, ubiquitous "Like" button on my own webpages.

Having the "Like" button, with the iconic, "thumbs up" symbol, allows people to not only express their appreciation of your website, but it lets their network of friends become aware of your site as well.

Adding the "Like" button to a webpage is incredibly easy. After visiting Facebook's page at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like and filling in a blank, I skipped over to one of my webpages at http://nodiet4me.com/people/arnold_schwarzenegger.html and plugged the code into my html.

Saved everything, and "Voila!" There sat the popular little "thumbs up" icon at the bottom of the article. Click Here, and you can see what it looks like. Give it a click to let me know you visited.

Try it for yourself! It's very easy.

Have a great day!

Don
