Practice, Preach and Pray

Romans 2:21-22 “Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou
not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit
adultery? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? (KJV)
If you don’t practice what you preach,
And don’t do the things you teach.
The souls of unsaved men, these souls you will not reach.
If you don’t pray before you go,
You won’t reap the seed you sow.
The souls of unsaved men, to God’s call they will say, “no.”
If you don’t teach your kids at home,
The paths of sin they’ll roam.
The soul of this lost child will not see God on His throne.
Greater sorrow could not be,
Than to reach eternity,
And the children that you bore, you will search for but not see.
