When we came to Adlandpro no doubt you like myself were overwhelmed with so much technology and happenings. One hardly knows where to begin. When you signed up you were sent to the Edit Profile Wizard to fill in information. Because we are excited and not sure what this is all about, we type in our name and hurry on. After all we were told to come here and advertise. So off we go but where! ! ! . You see an inviting spot and throw out an ad. But wait, let's step back. Just sit back and get organized.
What are the goals? Sell my product. No find a market. No again, build a list and relationships. There you go. You have to start with a foundation to build on. You can throw all the ads in the air you want. Slap up some ads on forums which no one sees, put in comments and offend people, invite new friends and turn people off. So what's the alternative. Try building relationships.
That's community.
Let's start over. What are your goals? Find people who need my products. Wrong, find people. Wrong again. Let's start with the foundation idea again. In real life how do you make friends? Walk up to them and say "Hey, can I borrow $5" "Could you use an extra house guest this week-end". "Do you want me to come for dinner, I have extra tomatoes I can bring" How blunt is that?

9. About Me "I haven't written anything about myself yet". Guess you don't really want to get to know me. What you are in the same program I am in? We should connect and share ideas. You're a senior too, that means we need each others help with all this computer stuff. Wow, you have a program I could use. You are a retired what?
You like golfing? Golly my program has neat golfing equiptment. About Me, helps the viewer know what you need, who you are and what you can be to me.
10. Opened profile I see you are working here in the community. I think I'll join the forums you promote. Your friends list looks good, your friends are my friends. Comments, wait there is some porno type junk, and ads. You must not be paying much attention. Probably off still trying to find a place to put an ad.
Well there's the 10 things I know about you. But if I watch around the community I think I'll see more of what you are about. Your behavior speaks louder than your profile I might just pattern my participation after you or maybe avoid you like the plague. Think I'll contact you and see what I can do to help you and maybe we can swap some ideas. Oh no, you sent me an ad in response.You didn't have to do that I can see in your signature line more of what you are abou and what business you promote. Guess you really don't want to be friends after all. On we go looking for more people that want to network.
