The Founding Master said,
“All people wish to be respected by others, but they are more apt to do what will make them slighted. How then can they get their wish? The method to receive others’ respect is first for me to respect others and be considerate of them. If I am respectful and considerate of them, then they, too, will be respectful and considerate of me.”
