 The Holy Bible says, The present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:7).
The Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—
...out of the heavens.
(Genesis 19:24).
These things happened to them as examples
and were written down as warnings for us,....
(1 Corinthians 10:11).
The heavens will disappear with a roar;
the elements will be destroyed by fire,... (2 Peter 3:10).
That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.
(2 Peter 3:12).
Everything will be destroyed in this way,....
(2 Peter 3:11).
Surely the day is coming;
it will burn like a furnace.
(Malachi 4:1; Rev. 8:7).
