A Little About Me.....AskAlyssa

Hello Everyone,

I am very excited about being a member of DirectMatches. I am looking forward to meeting, networking, learning and sharing knowledge/experiences with other like-minded individuals.

In my opinion, learning is a lifelong process and I strive to learn at a minimum of 10 new things every day. I truly believe we learn from our own mistakes, but is it not easier to learn from another person’s mistake? I am not only speaking in regards to growing a business, but in all aspects of our lives.

I am a strong believer in Education, however institutional higher education is not the only type of Education that we can learn from and become successful. I say this, as a person who has a Bachelors of Science Degree with a major in Psychology. Within six months of graduating, at the age of 22 I began a thirteen-year career with the State of Texas. I did not choose to leave that career all by myself, but with the advice of my doctor. I knew I was highly stressed, but did not realize the negative impacts it was having on my body. I developed high blood pressure and diabetes. My doctor told me either you quit your job or you with more than likely have a stroke or heart attack before you turn 40. Therefore, I reluctantly quit the only career that I had ever known and had become a part of my identity.

I shortly found another job that is somewhat related to my past job experience in Social Work. I am currently going on my third year of employment with this agency. Yes, it is a lot less stressful and I no longer have high blood pressure, which is great. However my salary is about 60% less than what I made with the state and no retirement. Last summer I realized I must do something that would help secure my future. I am now in the Alternative Teacher Certification Program, which allows me to obtain my Teacher Certification and a Masters Degree in Education.

However, what do I do in the meantime to survive financially? How can I save money? These are the questions I began asking myself. This is what led me on my relentless search to find an answer.

After hours and weeks of vigorous searching, just when I was about to give up, I fortunately found the answer. I did not believe it at first, I thought this is too good to be true, but I was past desperate so I decided to take a leap of faith. Moreover, I am so glad I did…Joining My World Plus is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It allows me to save money and be able to do the fun things I have always loved to do. Just a few of the examples is go out to eat, go the movies, go out of town and rent a car and hotel room, rent movies, and the list just goes on and on. One of the best things about it is I can buy new clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. I love to shop, especially when I can save money and it is affordable. I love Bargains!!!

I know I am not the only person in this world that has been faced struggling financially during these hard economic times. I feel compelled to share this extraordinary opportunity with others. It is not fair to keep it a secret.

See for yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed.
