Debate/resolve

THAT THOSE WHO RECEIVE STATE (TAX PAYER) SUBSIDIZED FUNDS BE REQUIRED TO MAKE THEIR CHILDREN AVAILABLE FOR STATE APPROVED EDUCATION?

When debating this question let us remember that the abilities and skills to survive and excel in this test of life are forever ingrained in us by our parents and educators. What is instilled in a child, be it right or wrong, becomes a permanent and lasting part of one’s being. That no matter the direction life may take, make no mistake, one’s childhood mind-set follows him/her throughout life, providing confidence or allowing doubt in every move because of the quality of education and rearing, both parental and scholastic.

Let this debate serve as an informative tool for our officials holding office that they may take a closer look at the laws governing or not governing the quality of home based education and the detrimental effect of inadequate basic standards for such education.

My articles and mission on this subject may be viewed in it’s entirety on my personal site http://www.LifesUltimateTest.com . I also have a video titled “ Ramifications of Homeschooling” at http://www.youtube.com/Dorisanne13 .

Thank you,

All schools would be much more effective if our welfare system was greatly diminished, limit to the disabled, so that an education would equate to a better lifestyle. As long as the government will take care of people, why bother with school, work, or any of the things that made the USA a great country.

The Bible teaches that each man should earn his own food.

Thanks, John

I honestly believe that anyone receiving welfare should have to volunteer on projects in exchange .. there should not be a free ride ...Homes for Humanity, public projects, cleaning up around schools, streets, public parks ... hundreds of projects could be put on a list to choose from.

There should be no free ride ... but for the handicapped, elderly who can not ....

An exchange for ... what you receive would make many figure out it would be easier to go get a real job, an education ....

Makes me think of the astranaut whose father had a 4th grade education, and was a crop gatherer, every summer all 4 kids went to pick the crops .. and every day the father told them
to get a good education so they did not have to work like this their whole lives to survive. All 4 went to college ...
