A Mother's Gift

To the greatest mother of them all

Proverbs 31:10&28 “Who can find a virtuous woman?

For her price is far above rubies. Her children arise up,

and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” (KJV)

With swollen limbs and severe pain.

She gives of self for others gain.

Her love for children drives her so,

To be for sure that Christ they know.

There is no greater loss on earth,

Than that a child not know new birth.

Though those children aren't her own,

She still makes sure the Seed is sewn.

For sacrifices made today,

Her reward won't fade away.

So when heaven has begun,

She will walk with children won.

Lord, please give this mother strength,

For she will go to any length.

She knows the consequence of sin,

And gives her all, their souls to win.

For it is worth eternity,

That little ones, God's face to see.

What greater gift before His throne,

Than give to God your very own?
