Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled
By Rev. Dean Beaty 9/11/09
John 14:1-2 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,
believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it
were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” (KJV)
Let not your heart be troubled in the midst of world decay.
The Savior gave this promise that He would return someday.
“I'm going to the Father to prepare a place for you.
And there you're going to join me when your life on earth is through.”
How often are we troubled by the trials that we face?
His peace can be our comfort if we'll trust God's saving grace.
His mercies every morning are new to us each day,
For those who by His blood have their sins all washed away.
There's safety for His children beneath His shelt'ring wing.
This is a place of comfort where our sorrows we may bring.
Our place of peace and rest is the Father's house above.
There we'll dwell eternally abiding in His love.
Though for awhile we're troubled, the day of Christ draws near.
So keep your vision upward for soon Christ will appear.
You have a reservation, reserved in heaven for you.
And when you enter in there'll be no mortgage due.
There will be no more foreclosures on those who cannot pay.
For Jesus paid it fully for those who go His way.
My friend receive the Savior before it is too late.
The journey will be worth it when we enter heaven's gate.
