Kathleen - Paula is hilarious-BUT- just reading that single line is almost enough to clog a heart to death!
Al Roker went through so much to not die-because of his weight!
Heart wrenching stuff that was about his dad and his wife and kids-this is madness to showcase this kind of stuff.
Where are peoples brains?
The number of kids down here dying-they are on the path-with diabetes here in New Orleans is heart breaking. They have all this poison to eat all day long and this on a show of this magnitude that also features the joys and benefits of losing weight is psychotic.

I remember when Al was so big...and he lost probably over 100 pounds!  I also have several very-overweight relatives who make Heart-Attack Mac & Cheese and insist on eating real butter, and coconut cookies!  Why do people do that when they already know...maybe they just don't know any other road to be on.

I was talking about accents the other day in Branka's forum...and hearing other places within USA can also be weird...Paula Deen saying Al is too thee-un...stretching the word thin into 2 syllables! There are rural people up here in Michigan who do the same thing!  I quit my tax class because the teacher from out-of-the-city here in  Michigan kept saying po-eent instead of point!  She drove me crazy!

The mixed messages television sends out drives me bonkers. If you watch the subject matter and then the commercials they are always the exact opposite of each other.
That's why I think I prefer Forensic Files and Law and Order.
You get the bad guy and make him stop doing bad stuff.
Oh and I dreaded going the the 'country' in the summer as a kid-I was always getting laughed at for talking so proper-and I could only get half the jokes cause I didn't know the words they used.

What makes me laugh is when people don't like a show but they don't realize they buy the sponsors products!  My sister can't tolerate The Simpsons cartoon but she uses Pantene shampoo, one of their main commercials in the daily reruns on the Simpsons! LOL!
