I’ve Been Forgiven

Colossians 1:12-14 “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” (KJV)

I’ve been forgiven of all my sin by God the Father’s Son.

All the words and thoughts or deeds that I have ever done.

By the death of Jesus Christ and His redeeming blood;

All my sins were washed away beneath that cleansing flood.

Do you know the wond’rous joy of all forgiven sin?

It could be yours and Heaven too by being born again.

Christ came to earth to pay the price by dying on the cross.

His blood became the sacrifice to save our souls from loss.

Do not bring your empty works to place before God’s throne.

Ask the Lord for saving grace by faith through grace alone.

All our works of righteousness are like a filthy rag.

Nothing good that we have done gives us the power to brag.

Loving mercy from God’s hand will free the heart from sin.

Then give you grace to walk with God by Him who lives within.

Do you have the peace of God that frees from sin and blame?

You can have this peace and joy by calling on His name.
