Last Monday Review of the Year (UPDATED)
12/17/2005 10:49:20 PM
Hi! Can you believe there's only 14 days left in the year 2005?!. On Monday, December 19, I'll be doing the last Monday Review of the year. (Mon., Dec 26 is a holiday here in Canada) Think back to a year ago, when 2004 was ending and 2005 was approaching. Did you accomplish everything you hoped you would in 2005? If not, maybe this is the perfect time to request a Monday review. Just in time to set some goals for 2006. We've reviewed gift sites and affiliate sites, Winston's card site, Deb's kidswear site, Cheri's, Martha's, Kathy's and Johnny's sites. Now, we're watching them grow. Is it your turn? If you'd like to request the last review of the year, post at the "request" thread, linked to below. The site that's most "different" than anything we've reviewed so far will be the site chosen. Request the last Monday Review of the year here : ) Linda P.S. The remaining sites will be reviewed after New Years day....

Hi all.... Just a quick note to say sorry I haven't done this week's Monday review yet. I'm swamped with Christmas work. As soon as it's sane, I'll do the next one. If you want inspiration - I have one client that's done $10,000.00 over the holiday season - and another that might hit $100,000 if we cross our toes that the orders continue for another day or two. (We're at over 93,000 so far...) Both of these have done those totals in the last 4 weeks. FOUR! lol Both of them are "mom and pop" businesses. How big would you dream, if you knew you couldn't fail? : ) Linda

That's Great! What kind of businesses do these people operate Linda? Are they service or product oriented? Strictly online? or both online and offline? It's nice to hear when people are doing good. It helps put some perspective to things when you know the kind of business as well.

Hi Winston; ======================================== What kind of businesses do these people operate Linda? Are they service or product oriented? Strictly online? or both online and offline? ======================================== Product based - strictly online. ======================================== It's nice to hear when people are doing good. ======================================== I agree completely. There's so much mass confusion about "how to sell" online that it's hard for people to know what works - and sometimes, IF anything really works. With so many marketing pundits preaching the merits of the sales letter, I find it very amusing to note that NEITHER of the sites I refer to even USE a sales letter. Thing is, business isn't about a methodology (ie, sales letter, direct marketing, etc) as much as it's about this: Know Thy Customer! : ) Linda
