Hello friends,
This is an article I wrote about creating passive income with Affiliate Marketing. I hope that you find a tidbit that will help you with your business!
Create Passive Income With Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing is one of the greatest partnerships on the Internet today. Are you currently practicing Affiliate Marketing without knowing it and without getting paid for it?
Do you ever refer a service to those people with whom you interact on a daily basis?
If so, you can begin to create a passive income with Affiliate Marketing - with little additional effort on your part.
I have been enjoying Affiliate Marketing on purpose for several years now. Prior to that I was actually practicing Affiliate Marketing accidentally... just by referring friends and business associates to resources that had been of great benefit to me.
When I decided I wanted to learn how to maximize my earnings for something I was already doing, I discovered a comprehensive Handbook that taught me how to do Affiliate Marketing the right way - on purpose.
Among other things, this handbook taught me how to determine my niche market. Fortunately, that was easy for me because I had already collected a number of good prosperity programs based on spiritual principles that had served me well for many years.
So, as I learned in the handbook, I put together a website at one of the recommended sites and my official Affiliate Marketing business was born.
Today, it is woven into everything I do - and has become a significant source of income for me.
My affiliate programs are woven into my websites, my blogs, my email signatures, message board and forum posting, online communities and my conversations with people on a daily basis.
When I find a great resource that is of benefit to me - and I know it will also serve others - I will seek out the affiliate program associated with the program and sign up for it. There is no cost involved.
I always purchase a domain name to be redirected to each particular affiliate program. This helps in two ways. It gives me a domain name that advertises what I am offering instead of using the usually very long affiliate link that may not indicate the product it is offering.
Having my own domain name for each affiliate program also prevents others from "stealing" my commissions by replacing my affiliate ID with their affiliate ID to earn the commissions for themselves.
Most affiliate programs pay from 30% to 70% commissions, so those commissions can contribute greatly to your income streams.
It only takes a few minutes to sign up for an affiliate program and you will be provided with the URL, banners and text ads for each product your represent, as well as a user name and password so that you can log into a control panel to monitor your vistors, sales and payments.
Some affiliate programs pay commissions on more than one level, so if you refer another affiliate, you may also earn second level commissions, or perhaps even third level.
Some affiliate programs will send you an email each time you make a sale. Others will only report the sales in the control panel.
Some programs pay through Paypal.com and others will mail a check to you.
Everyone benefits because the owner of the product is happy to pay you for promoting his product, your associates are connecting with resources that are beneficial to them, and you are earning commissions for connecting the two.
So, once you have an affiliate program set up, then as you go about your day, it is very easy and requires no additional time for you to refer others and begin to earn commissions for something you were probably doing anyway.
The handbook I use is at http://www.SuperAffiliate-Secrets.com. The author earned over $400,000 her first year in Affiliate Marketing, so I figured she must be a good teacher. And I was right!
Happy Affiliate Marketing on purpose!
